When I was in Budapest some years ago, the streets were littered with old Trabants.
No, not vagrants or beggars, but cars manufacured in East Germany.
Now in a poll conducted by the Daily Telegraph of the world's ugliest cars it has been placed 16th out of 100.
Launched in 1957, the Trabant was originally supposed to be in production for 10 years but continued for 33.
And which car was number one in the list?
